Women's Basketball vs. Winthrop

The Georgia Tech women's basketball team, ranked 19th in the preseason Associated Press poll, opens the preseason National Invitation Tournament (NIT) at home against Winthrop University Eagles.

The preseason ranking is the highest in school history, previously earning a program-best ranking of No. 22 in the January 5, 2008, poll. This also marks the first time the Jackets are in the preseason top 25 poll.
