Saqafat 2015

Primary tabs

Save your dates for Georgia Tech PSA's most awaited event of the year: SAQAFAT 2015.

In Urdu language, 'Saqafat' (pronounced sə-kä-fət) means 'culture'. It expresses the way in which all the culturally diverse ethnic groups in Pakistan blend together to represent what the country truly stands for.

Join us in this event to enjoy live music, dance and poetry performed by our own Georgia Tech students and witness how readily the country's culture emerges from fusing together some particular aspects of the cultures of different regions ranging from South Asia, Middle East and the West. But it just won't be limited to that! Stalls of henna designers, colorful bangles and Urdu caligraphy will make your experience much more enriching.

So bring yourself and your best friends for a memorable evening brimming with delicious food, eargasmic music, skits full of laughter, soulful poetry and whatnot!

We have limited seating so RSVP at facebook.com/GTPSA
