Museum of Papermaking opens "Paper Narratives"

Primary tabs

Nearly 100 guests turned out Sept. 11 to see the premiere of “Paper Narratives,” an exhibit featuring a unique combination of storytelling and 3-D paper artistry housed at the Robert C. Williams Museum of Papermaking in the Paper Tricentennial Building.

“We are so delighted to present the works of these artists because they bring such diverse and unique perspectives to their pieces,” said Teri Williams, director of the Museum. “This exhibit really showcases the beauty and versatility of paper, which is truly amazing. At the same time, it engages the visitors to step into each of the artists’ individual stories.”

Suzanne Sawyer serves as guest curator for the exhibit. Artists are Denise Bookwalter, Kerri Cushman, Doug Baulos, Lee Running, and Lauren Faulkenberry.

The exhibit will be on view through Nov. 20. For more information, visit Robert C. Williams Museum of Papermaking online or to arrange group tours, contact Virginia Howell at 404.894.5726 or virginia.howell@rbi.gatech.edu. Free and convenient parking is available at the museum.
