Public invited to vote in NNI's EnvisioNano 2.0 image contest

Primary tabs

Members of the public are invited to cast their votes for their favorite images in the EnvisioNano 2.0 photo contest. In the second round of the contest, students from labs and schools across the United States submitted pictures and descriptions of their research for the chance to win the top honors and have their work showcased at TechConnect World Innovation 2016, an annual conference and trade show in National Harbor near Washington, D.C., and on Nano.gov, the NNI’s website.

In the first EnvisioNano cycle, the images racked up more than 35,000 views. Organizers encourage everyone to cast votes for their favorite images and have asked students to envision where their research is headed and how “seeing” at the nanoscale is important to reaching that vision.

Voting is open until Friday, Sept. 17. View the images and cast your vote at www.nano.gov/EnvisioNanoVoting. Also, don't miss NNI’s Student Video Contest, now accepting entries through Nov. 12.
