Prof. Michael Grant, AE '12, Wins Outstanding Teacher Award at Purdue

Our congratulations to Professor Mike Grant who is the winner of the prestigious 2013 W.A. Gustafson Award for Outstanding Teaching in the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AAE) at Purdue University. Professor Grant will be his School's nominee to the Purdue University-wide Murphy Outstanding Undergraduate Award.

The recipient of this award is selected by the juniors and seniors of the AAE student body.  The award is made possible by the interest and generosity of friends and alumni of the School of AAE at Purdue.

Professor Grant received his Ph.D. from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2012 and joined Purdue's School of AAE as Assistant Professor in 2012.  His area of interests include Systems Engineering, Hypersonic Aerodynamics, Guidance Design, Trajectory Optimization, Multidisciplinary Design Optimization and Mission Design.
