Dr. Lakshmi Sankar, Regents Professor and Associate Chair for AE Undergraduate Programs, was selected by the American Helicopter Society (AHS) to receive their Technical Fellow Award.

The AHS Technical Fellow Award is granted to society members whose career-based accomplishments towards the goals and objectives of the vertical flight industry constitute an outstanding technical achievement. A maximum of 4 such awards are given in any single year. The award will be presented on Wed, May 2 during the AHS Awards Banquet to be held this year in Fort Worth, TX.
