Zinman's Research in Early Computer Films Recognized

Assistant Professor Gregory Zinman, whose research areas include film studies, media studies, art history, experimental film and media, and digital culture, will be programming two screenings of early computer films this week at the Ann Arbor Film Festival.

In addition, Zinman's discovery of a previously unknown early digital artwork by pioneering media artist Nam June Paik.story was recently featured on Smithsonian Magazine’s website. The work will be publicly exhibited next month for the first time at the Smithsonian American Art Museum.
