Is Travel Really That Bad?

Primary tabs

Georgia Tech's National Center for Transportation Systems Productivity and Management (NCTSPM) welcomes Clemson University Assistant Professor Eric Morris.

The question of what makes us happy is one of the most ancient in all of philosophical inquiry. But only recently have scholars begun to investigate how travel and transportation contribute to our state of mind and our overall sense of well-being. Morris will discuss research on what kind of mood we're in while we travel, how our mood varies based on mode and trip duration, and how we might go about making ourselves happier travelers.

Open to all; an RSVP is requested to NCTSPM@ce.gatech.edu.
