On Wednesday, October 1 at 3 p.m. Eastern, the American Institute of Architects (AIA) will host an informational webinar to provide an in-depth look at the goals of the Design & Health Research Consortium, how to apply, and what makes a strong proposal. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A. Registration link:  https://www4.gotomeeting.com/register/847357967.   Earlier this month the AIA Foundation, the AIA, the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture (ACSA), and the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health (ASPPH) announced an open Request for Qualifications for ASPPH-member schools and programs interested in joining the AIA Design & Health Research Consortium. The consortium is a new program to advance revolutionary, university-led research in the area of design and health. AIA and its partners will work with university teams to identify and develop opportunities for funded research, publication, and other resources in the area of design and public health, mindful that coordinated and collaborative efforts will benefit universities, their partners, and the design and health professions as a whole. Guidelines are available now on AIA.org. Qualifications will be accepted September 15 – October 15.
