Earlier this month a photo went viral of "anti-homeless" spikes in London. Robert Rosenberger, assistant professor of philosophy in the School of Public Policy at the Georgia Institute of Technology, writes in The Atlantic about how design can hide homelessness and change our ideas of civic space, and he defends these ideas in an interview on The Brian Lehrer Show.
