BEST Program Session: Working in Government as a PhD

Donna Dean, Ph.D., will talk about research lab and non-lab position outside of academia, as well as the role of PhDs in federal government and science policy. Dean is currently a consultant at the Association for Women in Science and American Chemical Society. She holds a PhD in Biochemistry extensive experience as a federal executive, a practicing scientist, and as a government relations expert.
This event is open to ALL Georgia Tech and Emory graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and faculty wishing to learn more about PhD career options.
