In pursuit of advancing the profession of student affairs, many professionals in the Division of Student Affairs share their knowledge with colleagues nationwide.

Dr. Brenda “B” Woods, Director of Research and Assessment for Student Affairs, recently facilitated the webinar “Creating and Sustaining a Culture of Assessment in Student Affairs” as part of a series of webinars from the NASPA Assessment, Evaluation and Research Knowledge Community. Also in affiliation with NASPA, John Stein, Dean of Students, and Dr. Toti Perez, Director of Counseling Center, presented this month at the NASPA Mental Health Conference on “Addressing Students of Concern: Models of Collaboration.” This presentation addressed the continuing escalation of mental health issues among college age students and how campus collaboration can more effectively assist students of concern to help mitigate risk on campus.
