Manufacturing Brown Bag Seminar Series: Dr. Chih-Hung Aaron King

The Georgia Tech Manufacturing Institute (GTMI) welcomes the DTI Robotics' Dr. Chih-Hung Aaron King on Monday, Nov. 18, for GTMI’s weekly Brown Bag Seminar Series. The seminar will begin at noon in Room 114 of the Callaway Manufacturing Research Building.

Dr. Chih-Hung Aaron King is the R&D Manager of DTI Robotics US Inc., a US subsidiary of the Danish Technological Institute (DTI).  DTI and DTI Robotics are currently developing a Robot Co-worker platform which aims to provide an affordable robotic assembly system that has a high degree of flexibility. This new generation of robot technology will provide programming abstraction in multiple layers across basic robotic control, perception, skills, tasks, and user operation. In session, In this talk, Dr. King will provide an overview of the approach and current development of the technology, and describe the application and the lessons learned from industrial use cases in Europe.
