Come to this event to learn more about the hiring process in different Metro Atlanta school systems. Attendees will have the chance to hear from representatives of Atlanta Public Schools, City of Decatur, Cobb County, DeKalb County, Fulton County, Gwinnett County, Henry County, and Marietta City.  

The first part of the session will be slotted for learning more about certification, applying, hearing from an alumni who has taught, and particular items for each system.  Time for Q and A will be included also.  The second portion of the event will give attendees time to talk to the individual representatives. 

This event is not a job fair or a hiring expo but will prove very beneficial for anyone considering pursuing a teaching job in the K-12 community.  Attendees should bring a polished resume or a business card at least to give to each representative. 

All majors are welcome!  Light food and snacks provided.

Attendees should be present for the start of the event or as closely thereafter if a class ends at 11:05 a.m.

Individuals who are graduating in May 2013 should take the Georgia Assessment for the Certification of Educators on March 23 if possible. Other dates are also available.
