Call for Student Submissions to the 2013 Clough Art Crawl

Primary tabs

The walls of the G. Wayne Clough Undergraduate Learning Commons will once again transform into an art gallery, all centered on the artistic work of Georgia Tech students.

Undergraduate and graduate students can now submit their artwork to be featured in the 2013 Clough Art Crawl, which will take place on Friday, February 8 from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. in the Clough Commons.

The second annual event is sponsored by the Georgia Tech Library, the Office of Undergraduate Education, The Communication Center, Georgia Tech Printing and Copying Services, and the Office of Information Technology. Additional support is provided by the Clough Commons Partners and members of the 2013 Art Crawl Committee, including students from Erato and DramaTech.

Artists can submit work in any medium or form, including photography, drawing, painting, sculpture, music, poetry, prose, spoken word, etc. The official deadline to submit is February 1 by 5 p.m. Visit art.clough.gatech.edu for more complete details on how to submit to the Art Crawl.

“Last year, we had over 170 submissions, making the Art Crawl a surprisingly huge success,” said Jennifer Upton, Marketing & Events Manager for the Georgia Tech Library. “We hope that just as many, if not more students submit their work this year, as the event is really growing and we’ve added lots of exciting new components. It’s such a unique opportunity for both the students who make art as well as those who enjoy seeing it on display.”
