BlackBerry Executive to discuss "Leadership in Times of Change"

Robin Bienfait is the Chief Information Officer of BlackBerry. During her tenure, she has successfully led the company to achieve high levels of service while operating in a changing environment, a testament to her focus on scalability, reliability, security and people.

On Nov. 14, she will speak at Tech as part of the IMPACT Speaker Series, addressing a timely and important topic: "Leadership in Times of Change."

Robin Bienfait is the Chief Information Officer of Research In Motion. In this position, she oversees the Enterprise Business Unit, BlackBerry Operations, Customer Service and Corporate IT functions. A key component of her role is to manage the end-to-end global BlackBerry customer experience. Prior to joining Research in Motion, Robin held senior leadership positions with AT&T in the Labs and Global Network Services lines of business. Read full bio.

Since 2002, the IMPACT Speaker Series has brought highly successful business leaders from a variety of industries to campus to share their experiences and give advice to students and other entrepreneurs on topics ranging from "building a venture around intellectual capital" to "successful entrepreneurship in large organizations" and "socially responsible leadership". The weekly series provides Georgia Tech students, alumni and the Atlanta business community an opportunity to network and learn from successful entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and notable business and non-profit leaders.

The series is free and open to the public, and reservations are not required.
