IMPACT Series: Universal Commerce for Today's Connected Consumer

Primary tabs

First Data's Mark Herrington will speak at Georgia Tech this fall as part of the IMPACT Speaker Series. He will discuss "Universal Commerce for Today's Connected Consumer," focusing on changes in information available to consumers.

Herrington points out that today’s consumers have information at their fingertips 24/7. They rely on social media, online offers and tools, and input from various mobile channels to help them make smart buying decisions. As shopping and buying evolve, Universal Commerce is beginning to replace the multi-channel model popular today. Herrington will discuss ways in which mobile apps will serve as the hub powering this new era of commerce – bridging the virtual and physical worlds for a seamless shopping experience.

Please join us to hear Mr. Herrington's insights on this topic. The event will be held on September 26 at 4:30 pm in the Scheller College of Business. A free live webcast will also be available.
