Irizarry Elected President of Atlanta Chapter of Human Factors and Ergonomics Society

Dr. Javier Irizarry, Assistant Professor in the School of Building Construction, has been elected President of the Atlanta Chapter of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society for 2012. In this role, Irizarry will lead the organization in expanding opportunities for member professional development and multidisciplinary collaboration in human factors research and education. The Human Factors and Ergonomics Society's mission is to promote the discovery and exchange of knowledge concerning the characteristics of human beings that are applicable to the design of systems and devices of all kinds.
